Do you want just one pass for all your Washington outdoor activities?
Washington state and federal officials want to make it easier for you to access the state's many parks and recreation areas.
Right now, there are about 20 different kinds of passes, leading to a lot of confusion for park goers.
The University of Washington and Washington State University have just launched an online survey to get your thoughts about combining the passes. Molly Stenovec, project coordinator for the survey, said researchers hope to get input from a lot of Washington residents.
“The objectives,” she said, “are to hear from people who currently purchase passes and what would be opportunities for simplifying that process. And then, hearing from people who don't recreate on public lands and understand what are their barriers.”
The survey is online until the end of the month. The findings will go to state officials in early December.
