Stand With The Facts

This past summer, KUOW and Center for an Informed Public kicked-off Stand with the Facts – a series of five live virtual events - offering information and tools on how to spot misinformation in our daily lives from some UW’s leading misinformation experts. The series continues as we head into the November election. According to a recent NPR poll, voters consider misleading information the #1 threat to keeping our elections safe and accurate. We will continue to learn more, hear from leading experts, journalists and leaders from local communities impacted by misinformation, and work to find solutions to stop the spread of misinformation in our communities.

Below, watch videos of the online events hosted this summer and fall, utilize the Stand with the Facts toolkit, and find out ways you can combat fake news and misinformation.
