SIFF celebrates independent film in Seattle
The 50th Seattle International Film festival kicks off today. A lot has changed in the world of movie watching since the first festival took place in 1976, but SIFF is still the main venue for seeing international and independent films in the city.
SIFF Artistic Director Beth Barret gives a preview of this year’s festival and how it fits into our streaming-focused media landscape.
