Summer can sometimes feel like months of worrying about wildfire…

When the latest one will be put out, And when the next one will start. But it turns out, there’s dozens of fires every year… That we never even hear about. That’s thanks to an elite crew of firefighters called smokejumpers. Seattle Times Outdoor Reporter Gregory Scruggs takes us to the birthplace of smokejumping.
